Our Warehouse Technician I – Picking plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include completing the batch picking processes utilizing manual or automated technology. You will be integral in ensuring that batches are picked in support of production requirements and inventory is accurately transacted and maintained. Your attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures will guarantee that our medications meet the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality, providing patients with the best possible care and outcomes. This is a set, consistent schedule with minimum overtime requirements and based on site in our Sugar Land, TX location. This is a safety sensitive position that may be subject to random drug testing, in accordance with applicable laws.Watch this Video to learn more.What Warehouse Technician I – Picking Does Each DayPicks starting materials and supplies according to the ERP generated picklist to support the batch manufacturing processTransacts picked material utilizing an ERP systemVerifies picked material matches the picklistPulls from inventory items necessary to restock and restocks shelvesRotates stock in accordance with First-Expired, First-out procedureChecks for and pulls opened, damaged, expired and/or excess inventory and replaces unusable, damaged, or packaging, labels etc.Handles defective, damaged and/or expired inventory in accordance with established departmental policyUnloads trucks of materials and loads recycling material on trucksRemoves pallets, strapping and packing materials, and moves recycle materials to recycle areaReceives and puts away material in designated locations to support effective warehouse flowVerifies bill of lading and packingOur Most Successful Warehouse Technicians I – PickingAre Highly detail oriented and organizedFollow procedures and clear instructionsAble to shift gears at a moment’s noticeMinimum Requirements For This RoleA High School diploma or equivalentAble to successfully complete a drug and background checkFamiliarity with and comfortable using mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, handheldsAble and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift throughout each shift, with or without accommodation18+ years of ageMust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa will not sponsor applicants for work visasRequires 1-2 years of experience in anyone, or combination of the following: Distribution, Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, Material handling, Customer Service, Inventory Control, or other comparable service line.
