Position Overview: The Inventory Associate assists in receiving and processing of all inventory at Cedar & Hyde Mercantile Fulfillment Center. They coordinate with the Inventory Manager to prioritize receiving shipments, perform quality control, and prepare inventory for transport and delivery to Cedar & Hyde’s Home and Apparel retail stores. Secondarily, they assist in e-commerce order fulfillment. Job Responsibilities: Inventory Processing Receive shipments including signing for packages, organizing and labeling boxes, unpacking product, and breaking down packing materials Compare inventory to packing slip and coordinate with Inventory Manager about discrepancies Inspect and perform quality control on a wide variety of products from apparel to home goods Communicate with Inventory Manager to prepare products for delivery to retail stores, including price sticker placement, packing, and prepping for transportation via delivery van Fulfillment Ensure the correct items and quantities are accurately packed for all orders Operate within an eCommerce computer system to confirm accurate order processing and create/print shipping labels Prepare shipments before carrier pickups and follow all packaging requirements Support in processing online returns Occasionally, perform calls to customers to retrieve payment of any unpaid shipping costs Qualifications Retail, e-commerce shipping/receiving environment, or related experience preferred Experience in Shopify preferred Detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent manual dexterity Must have good computer skills with current technology Must be able to lift 20+ pounds Must be able to stand for the majority of day Must have availability in the afternoons Tuesday through Thursday.
