Day.Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, MI is seeking a PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT to join our PHYSICAL THERAPY team!The Physical Therapist Assistant carries outpatient treatment procedures for pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the guidance and general supervision of a licensed physical therapist.HOURS: This position is Full Time; 1.0 FTE or 80 hours per pay period.Experience/QualificationsKnowledge of physical therapy standards and practices normally acquired through completion of an Associate Degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).Current CPR certificationCurrent Michigan PTA license1-3 years' experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant desirable.Employee BenefitsFull benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.PTO accrual from day one!Generous retirement plan with match available.Wellness program for employees and their families.Aspirus Ironwood Hospitalincludes a 25-bed critical access hospital, multi-specialty clinic, satellite clinic in Wisconsin, surgical clinic, walk-in clinic and a home health agency. Ironwood's service area covers approximately 30,000 people. The hospital has a 4 bed ICU, 3 bed OB unit, and 4 surgical units. The emergency department is staffed 24/7 with ER physicians, with approximately 12,000 visits annually. The hospital's inpatient census is 10 patients per day.
