Parts Department Associate

Parks Marina is seeking an experienced Parts Department Associate to assist one of the largest 2 location boatsales and service departments in North America. The Marine Parts Department Associate supports the parts and service operations by assisting customers, technicians, and sales staff in finding and ordering the correct marine parts and accessories. This role combines product knowledge, customer service, and organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate parts fulfillment and inventory management.Job ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and assist them in finding the parts they are looking for, including answering questions,educating on product usage and providing advice for maintenance and installationAssist with inventory management and verify that all parts are correctly stocked and displayed for optimalvisibility and accessibilityIntervene in situations where a customer is dissatisfied, and come up with creative solutions to maintainbusiness when dealing with backorders, damaged parts or stock-outsOrganize merchandise and participate in modifying displays to reflect current inventory, sales andpromotionsCalculate sales totals, taking into account such factors as discounts, store credit, promotions and flashsalesLabel different parts based on their function and price using predetermined methods for organization anddocumentationInspect returned parts to find defects and promptly assist the customer with a replacement part or a fullrefundParticipate in accepting shipments of parts, sending orders to customers and documenting all inventorythat enters and exits the facilityRequiredJob Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent degreeAble to quickly learn about a variety of partsPersonable, friendly and willing to listenIndividual must possess a positive attitude, have a high level of accuracy, be hard working, self-motivatedand demonstrate impeccable customer service.PreferredThree to five years of experience in parts and customer servicePrevious Point of Sale system experienceFamiliarity with stocking and organizing inventoryPrior parts and computer experienceJob Type: Full-timeBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offCompensation PackageCompetitive Compensation Based on ExperienceBonus opportunitiesLive and work at the upper Midwest’s most beautiful resort destination!ScheduleOvertime required Memorial Day-Labor DayWeekends and Summer Holidays as neededAbility To Commute/relocateOkoboji, IA 51355: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person at Okoboji, IowaResumes can be emailed to careers@parksmarina.com for consideration
