Required Skills & Experience• 8+ years of experience in cloud operations, infrastructure or data center environments• 3-5+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams• 3+ years of experience with GCP and AWS or Azure in an enterprise environment• Experience managing hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem)• Strong foundation across compute, storage and OS level operations• IT financial experience with forecasting, inventory and license trackingNice to Have Skills & Experience• Cloud Certifications (Across GCP, Azure or AWS)• Experience with FinOps / Cloud Cost Optimization• Exposure to Automation tools (Terraform, Scripting etc.)• Experience scaling teams during growth periodsJob DescriptionInsight Global is looking for a Cloud Platform Manager to lead cloud-native and on-prem infrastructure operations with a primary focus on Google Cloud Platform and Azure, AWS and OCI. This role is accountable for the availability, resiliency, cost efficiency and operational excellence of enterprise platforms spanning hypervisors, Linux/Unix and Windows systems, Citrix / VDI, data protection, disaster recovery and site republication. This position combines strong people leadership, incident command and FinOps accountability managing blended teams of FTEs, contractors and MSPs while ensuring budgeting, forecasting inventory and license management. This role drives successful execution of infrastructure projects, outages, and transformation initiatives.This role requires candidates to be onsite 4 days a week in Irving, Texas or Boca Raton, FloridaJob Responsibilities:• Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Operations teams supporting GCP centric hybrid environments with secondary responsibility for Azure, AWS and OCI• Provide people leadership for blended teams (FTEs, Contractors, MSPS) including performance management, coaching and workforce planning• Serve as the incident and outage commander leading war rooms, coordinating recovery and delivering executive communications• Own FinOps responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, inventory tracking• Oversee operations for compute, hypervisors, Linux/Unix and Windows Systems, Citrix/ VDI, Storage, data protection• Provide operational governance for SaaS platforms and integrations including Salesforce and ServiceNow• Lead delivery of infrastructure projects, migrations refreshes and cloud transformations• Drive automation and infrastructure as Code adoption to improve reliability, speed and operational efficiencyAssist in capacity planning and infrastructure roadmap developmentContract-to-Hire Roles:Compensation:$62.50/hr to $69.50/hr on contract; salary + bonus upon conversion = $170,000 - $182,500Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
