Pipe Layer/Skilled Laborer

CBC Site Development is seeking to hire a Pipe Layer/Laborer for several ongoing utility projects. The scope of work includes the installation of water, sanitary sewer, and storm lines. Applicants with a strong work ethic, coachability, and team first attitude are encouraged to apply. We take pride in the products we deliver to our customers, and guarantee high quality, clean work.Daily Duties And ResponsibilitiesInstall various types of pipe, making connections in ditch-sewer, water, and storm.Effectively communicate with operator to excavate trenches to proper depths and grade.Set up pipe laser, ensure proper grade and line.Assist in layout and site prep for pipe runs.Daily material prep, stringing out pipes and staging other materials.Hook and rig pipes safely for placement in the ditch.Effectively communicate daily tasks and plans with foreman.Maintain basic machine maintenance (greasing, fueling, air filters, checking oils, and cab cleaning).Experience, Knowledge, And RequirementsSafely and effectively work with various hand and power tools- ex. demo saw, circular saw, hammer drill, pipe beveler.Basic understanding of a pipe laying operation.Ability to do physical tasks; rigging, standing, bending/crouching for periods of time.Reliable transportation.Attendance and schedule maintainability.Note: Pay discussed upon hire.
