Your expertise in materials planning, scheduling, inventory control, and process improvement will play a critical part in keeping operations on track.What You’ll DoAs a Materials Management Specialist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Analyze complex material requirements and production needsVerify and incorporate Bills of Material and schedules into production plansDetermine part number attributes and support accurate planning dataInitiate, coordinate, and authorize release of orders based on system requirements and resource availabilityMonitor and ensure on-time delivery of materials and componentsInvestigate and resolve order delinquencies and schedule adherence issuesDevelop, manage, and optimize inventory plans and stock levelsAnalyze and disposition excess inventoryConduct audits and ensure materials processes remain compliant and efficientBuild schedules for products and services to support operational demandsAssist with estimates and schedules for new business proposalsDrive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across materials management and supply chain functionsWhat You BringRequired Qualifications5+ years of Materials and Standards experienceBachelor’s degree with typically 6+ years of related experience, ORMaster’s degree with typically 4+ years of related experience, OREquivalent combination of education and experienceStrong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skillsExperience working in supply chain, materials management, or production planning environmentsPreferred QualificationsAerospace or aviation industry experienceExperience with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management toolsLean, continuous improvement, or process optimization experienceWhy Join Us?At PDS Tech Commercial, we connect top talent with exciting opportunities that help shape the future of aviation.
