The personal banker opens and processes new deposit accounts and provides information on bank products and services. The personal banker meets the needs of customers by providing quality personalized service./ph3Essential Functions:/h3ulliGreets customers and assesses their needs./liliProcesses customer transactions with professionalism and courtesy./liliMeets with customers and effectively determines appropriate banking needs for each customer./liliOpen and close various customer accounts based on customer need./liliHandles customer complaints and works through these sensitive issues to resolution./liliPerforms data entry to complete reporting requirements./liliKnows the identity of the customer to reduce fraud and risk of loss to the Bank./liliMaintain a valid notary commission./liliMaintains strict confidentiality guidelines in accordance with Bank policy./liliMaintain policy and procedures as defined by Management./liliCross-sell products and services./liliAssist with customer phone calls in a timely and courteous manner./liliMaintains a positive working relationship with customers and co-workers./liliMaintain personal grooming and company dress and appearance standards./liliMaintain company attendance standards./liliOther tasks as assigned./li/ulh3Education, Experience and Requirements:/h3ulliHigh school graduation or G.E.D. equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred./liliTwo years of personal banking or bank customer service experience./liliSatisfactory credit and criminal background check./li/ulh3Skills and Physical Demands:/h3ullipSkills:/p ulliHard Skills: Proficient in basic personal computer operations. Proficient in 10-key.
