Title: Event Coordinator Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Job OverviewWe are seeking a Event Coordinator to support training programs and customer education initiatives. In this role, you will help plan, coordinate, and promote customer training sessions, webinars, and educational events that increase product awareness and customer engagement.You will work closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and product teams to organize training programs for customers across the In-Building, Data Center, and Carrier marketsKey ResponsibilitiesTraining Program CoordinationSupport the planning and execution of customer training programs and education initiativesCoordinate live and virtual training events, including scheduling, logistics, and event setup.Work with subject matter experts to develop training materials and presentationsEvent ManagementOrganize and manage training sessions, seminars, and webinarsCoordinate with distribution teams and sales engineers to manage event logistics nationwideUse event management tools to manage registrations and event reportingMarketing & PromotionPromote training events using social media, email campaigns, and marketing automation toolsSupport marketing campaigns to increase participation in education programs.CollaborationWork with cross-functional teams including:Channel MarketingRegional MarketingSales EngineersProduct ManagersEngineering ServicesHelp identify new training opportunities and customer education needs.Data & ReportingMaintain customer training records and certification data.Track program participation and generate reports on training outcomes.Customer SupportProvide basic support for program members and training participants.Maintain program databases and help improve training processes.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldExperience2+ years of experience in:MarketingCommunicationsEvent planningTraining coordination or similar rolesSkillsStrong organizational and planning skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detailProblem-solving abilityData analysis and reporting skillsAbility to work with cross-functional teamsTechnical SkillsExperience with tools such as:Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)SharePointSalesforceMarketing automation tools (Marketo)Webinar platforms (WebEx, AdobeConnect)Event management software (Cvent)Social media platforms (LinkedIn)
