Windows Server & VMware Administrator

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Windows Server & VMware Administrator to manage, maintain, and support enterprise infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, VMware vSphere, PowerShell automation, and infrastructure compliance within regulated environments. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments. 5+ years of experience with VMware vSphere administration, including virtual infrastructure management and support. Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation for system administration tasks. Experience supporting infrastructure in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements. Familiarity with NERC CIP regulations and related cybersecurity compliance standards. Experience with Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent technical experience. VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred. Roles and Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across enterprise environments. Manage VMware vSphere platforms, including virtual machines, hosts, and related components. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency. Perform system upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Ensure infrastructure systems meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Support audit activities and maintain documentation related to compliance standards. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to resolve technical issues. Implement best practices for system reliability, availability, and security.
