Surgical Technician - Orthopedics and Ophthalmology Location: Cumming, Georgia Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM (32 hours guaranteed), with an option to float on Fridays to achieve up to 40 hours per week. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician specializing in Orthopedics and Ophthalmology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty and be prepared to float between the Main OR and Outpatient Surgery as required to maintain guaranteed weekly hours. Responsibilities: Assist surgeons and medical staff in surgical procedures. Prepare and maintain the sterile field. Ensure the necessary instruments and supplies are available and functional. Float to the Main Operating Room and Outpatient Surgery as needed to ensure staffing needs are met. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical technician role with a specialty in Orthopedics and Ophthalmology. Current AHA BLS certification. Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA). Why ARMStaffing?
