OVERVIEWThe Task Associate (TA) is responsible for delivering operational excellence in support of sales drivers, ensuring fixtures stocked with merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing assigned tasks. The role supports the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager through focus on performance, people, and process. Attention to detail and adherence to procedures are required.PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe TA is a champion of Ulta Beauty's mission, vision, and values, performing duties as described and additional projects as assigned.PerformanceContribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed and product is available.Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard, shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.Maintain prompt, regular attendance.PeopleContribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests.Participate in training including brand and category education to enable professional development and drive sales performance.ProcessKnow and ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty's policies, procedures, and standards.Adhere to dress code.Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty's technology.Drive operational excellence by keeping assigned work area replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.Maintain store standards and cleanliness across salesfloor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area.Protect company assets by following loss prevention and providing guest service.Execute other operational tasks as directed.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducationHigh school diploma preferred.Experience1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.SkillsProficient with basic technology (e.g., POS system and Apple devices).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to problem solve.SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTSWork a flexible schedule including early morning, daytime, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.WORKING CONDITIONSContinuous mobility throughout store during shift.Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting during shift.Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying and/or moving up to 25 lbs. during shift.Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects during shift.If an associate has a disability that prevents them from performing an essential function of the job, the Company will engage in the interactive process to determine a reasonable accommodation.The pay range for this position is $16.90 - $24.00 / Hour. Exact pay is based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, location, and business needs.
