Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,077 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: DC RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Charge experience preferred. Description: The position is for the Transplant ICU. Shifts include 3x12-hour Day and Night rotations. There is no on-call or weekend requirement. Floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity is required. Candidates must have experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, chronic and acute renal failure, CVA management, external ventricular drains, hypothermia protocol, ICP monitoring, post-neurosurgery management, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, respiratory care, infection prevention, isolation precautions, phlebotomy, and surgical wounds. The unit focuses on post-transplant patients and managing complex medical conditions. Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV therapy and physical therapy, among others.
