Stepful is backed by Y Combinator and recently closed a round led by AlleyCorp, Reach Capital, and Sempervirens.The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to launch and run a new business unit at Stepful. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong operational background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing P&L, conducting due diligence, and leading teams to success. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact in healthcare education.What You’ll DoBusiness Launch & Management: Lead the launch of a new business unit from the ground up, including developing and implementing business strategies, operational plans, and performance metrics. P&L Management: Own the P&L for the business unit, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded. Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary. Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence to identify opportunities, assess risks, and inform strategic decisions. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the healthcare education sector. Operational Excellence: Ensure operational efficiency and excellence in all aspects of the business unit. Implement processes and systems to support scalable growth.
