Senior Back-End Software Engineer (Golang) Denver, CO--LoHi (Hybrid, 3 days/week) Salary range: $110-155k We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to work on high-performance, distributed systems operating at global scale. The role involves developing and maintaining microservice-based architectures, improving system reliability, and contributing to technical design decisions across the platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, help drive engineering best practices, and support the delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions. ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable, reliable, high-performance systemsDevelop services using Golang and microservice architectureWork with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-codeDesign solutions that support high concurrency and global scaleDebug, optimize, and improve low-latency distributed systemsProvide technical guidance and collaborate with team membersContribute to adoption of modern tools, cloud technologies, and automationWork closely with stakeholders to solve complex engineering problemsQualifications5+ years of professional software development experienceMinimum 1 year of hands-on experience with GolangExperience working with high-throughput, low-latency systemsExperience developing microservices architecturesCommercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and KubernetesExperience working in a fast-paced agile environmentAbility to mentor or support other engineers in technical areasStrong interest in learning and adopting new technologiesKnowledge of React and TypeScript is a plusExposure to C#, .NET, MSSQL, and/or WPF is beneficialExperience working in a delivery-focused engineering cultureExperience using AI to accelerate the software development lifecycle, improve engineering velocity, and enhance development processes
