Job Title: DevOps Automation Engineer with Python and AnsibleLocation: Alpharetta, GA (5 Days onsite/week – Mandatory and Non-Negotiable ) Nice to Have:Database: Oracle, SQL Server, IBM Db2, MongoDB, MySQL / MariaDB, PostgreSQL & CassandraJDExperience Level:o 10-15 years of experienceo 7+ years in automation or infrastructure automation rolesMandatory Skills:• Automation Tools:o Ansible (playbooks, roles, inventories)o Rundeck (job orchestration, scheduling)o Terraform, GitLab CI/CDo MFO (Managed File Processing / relevant enterprise automation tool)• Programming & Scripting:o Python (strong hands-on experience)o Shell scripting (Bash) and/or PowerShell• Automation Expertise:o Proven experience implementing patching automation solutionso Automation for large-scale enterprise environmentsAdded Advantage (Good to Have):• Strong knowledge of Operating Systems:o Linux (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu)o Windows Server• Database Knowledge:o Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, or other enterprise databaseso Understanding of database patching concepts• Experience with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps tools• Exposure to monitoring and alerting tools• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements related to patchingIdeal Candidate Profile:• Has implemented automation solutions from design to production, not just consumed them• Hands-on experience automating patching at scale• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills• Comfortable working in a large enterprise, cross-functional environment• Able to clearly document and explain automation workflows
