Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) ManagerLocation: Fort Worth, TX AreaReporting To: Plant Manager (Direct); Corporate EHS (Dotted Line)Position OverviewOur organization, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a high-caliber EHS professional to spearhead our safety and environmental initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who prioritizes a "safety-first" culture while ensuring full compliance with environmental regulations. This role is a critical member of the site leadership team, responsible for protecting our people, our community, and the environment.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Develop and execute site-specific EHS strategies that align with both plant goals and corporate standards.Safety Excellence: Drive a zero-incident culture through behavior-based safety programs, rigorous hazard identification, and comprehensive risk assessments.Environmental Oversight: Manage all environmental compliance programs, including air permits, waste management (hazardous and non-hazardous), and water discharge.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility meets or exceeds all local, state, and federal requirements (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ).Training & Development: Design and facilitate engaging EHS training sessions for all levels of staff to ensure competency and awareness.Incident Management: Lead thorough investigations into all safety and environmental incidents, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions.Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between plant operations and the Corporate EHS group, providing regular reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).Required QualificationsExperience: 7–10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Technical Depth: Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes and the associated safety/environmental risks.Preferred QualificationsProfessional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager).Experience managing EHS in a multi-shift, high-volume production facility.*********NO Sponsorships at this time*****************How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their resume in MS Word format to:Tom Harrell, Recruitertharrell@selectsearchllc.comSelect Search, LLC
