If you’re mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and ready to make a real impact, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install production equipment to minimize downtimePerform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and electrical systemsInspect and maintain plant facilities to ensure safety and operational efficiencyAccurately document work performed, and parts/materials used dailyRead and interpret electrical prints and schematics to diagnose and correct issuesFabricate using torch, welder, and other tools for repairs and installationsStay current on industry standards, best practices, and code complianceCommunicate progress and issues clearly with team members and supervisorsPerform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Plant ManagerRequirementsHigh school diploma / equivalent or completion of technical school or equivalent in training, experience, and educationAt least 5 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions. Concrete pavers and blocks manufacturing preferred.Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical and mechanical operations and componentsSolid working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Experience with PC/PLC control systems and Preventive Maintenance Programs (CMMS)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and manualsSkilled in welding and steel fabrication (torch, welder, and associated tools)Strong computer skills including Microsoft OfficePhysically able to stand, stoop, reach, and lift to 80 lbs.Reliable, collaborative, and adaptable work ethic in a fast-paced settingPositive attitude with commitment to teamwork and safetyDependable and consistent attendance is requiredA minimum of 5 years of experience in controls within a manufacturing environment, specifically in programming, ladder logic, and motor controls.At least 2 years of experience in PLC troubleshooting.Proven experience in the installation and programming of variable frequency drives, including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider Controls.High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Technical or vocational school certification is preferred.Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical principles.Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is desired.Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 65 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working both indoors and outdoors, and using fall protection equipment.Knowledge of Besser, Columbia, Masa, and Tiger equipment is a significant advantage.BenefitsAt Suncore, we value people.
