Position: Early Childhood Support Educator (Floater)Children's Choice Learning Center (CCLC) is a licensed early childhood program serving families through consistent care, structure, and strong teaching teams. We are seeking a reliable Early Childhood Support Educator (Floater) to join our center in a stable, scheduled role supporting daily classroom operations.This is a hands-on support position in an active childcare environment. It is well suited for individuals who value routine, reliability, and being a steady presence for children and staff.ScheduleMorning Shift: 6:30 AM - 1:30 PMAfternoon Shift: 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM This position requires dependable, on-time attendance and the ability to report to work consistently as scheduled. What This Role Looks Like Day-to-DayAs a Floater, you will move between classrooms as needed to support ratios, routines, and smooth transitions. You will assist lead teachers, engage directly with children, and help maintain order, cleanliness, and consistency throughout the day.You are not expected to run a classroom independently, but you are expected to be competent, dependable, and ready to step in where support is needed.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport classrooms as assigned and follow established routinesEngage children in age-appropriate activities and playAssist with transitions, supervision, and daily care routinesMaintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environmentFollow center schedules, policies, and proceduresCommunicate professionally with staff and leadershipUphold health, safety, and sanitation standardsInteract respectfully with families and childrenProfessional ExpectationsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to take direction and support teaching teamsProfessional communication and workplace behaviorCalm, patient, and respectful demeanorWillingness to assist with day-to-day classroom needs Required QualificationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationCPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Experience working with children preferredProfessional communication skills and sound judgment Preferred EducationCDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related fieldIndividuals pursuing early childhood credentials are encouraged to apply
