Materials Planner

Global Compliance Partners is seeking an experienced Material Planner to support one of our biotech clients on a contract basis. This is a dynamic, hands-on role embedded in an active CMC development environment where no two weeks look the same.Hours: 20-40 hrs/week (variable) Duration: 4 months, with potential for extension Location: Hybrid/Remote. On-site onboarding preferred; local candidates strongly preferredAbout the RoleYou'll serve as the operational backbone for non-GMP material management, working across CMC, clinical, and translational teams to ensure materials are where they need to be, when they need to be there. This role requires someone who can move fast, think ahead, and communicate clearly across a network of internal teams and external partners.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain inventory of non-GMP materials across multiple CDMOs and storage sitesCoordinate material demand planning across CMC, clinical, and translational groupsTrack and respond to specific material needs in real timeCoordinate domestic and international shipping in partnership with existing external logistics supportMaintain accurate inventory records and proactively flag supply risksSupport day-to-day operational needs across manufacturing and supply chain functionsServe as a key point of contact between internal teams and external CDMOs on material-related mattersQualificationsHands-on experience in a CMC development environment (biotech or pharma)Direct experience working with CDMOs - this is a mustStrong cross-functional coordination skills; comfortable working across scientific and operational teamsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, frequently changing environmentExperience with multi-site inventory management and international shipping logisticsSelf-directed and organized and capable of owning a workstream independently
