Testing SpecialistThe Testing Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive software quality assurance services, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manual testing, integration testing, and validation of complex, public-facing enterprise systems. The role focuses on ensuring functional accuracy, system reliability, and high-quality software delivery through structured testing methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Perform software validation activities including UAT, manual testing, integration testing, regression testing, and interface testingDevelop detailed test cases and test scenarios mapped to business and functional requirementsTranslate written and verbal requirements into effective test plans and scenario-based test executionsPrepare and maintain test documentation, test data, and execution resultsExecute test cases and accurately document outcomesIdentify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management toolsCollaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve defects and validate fixesCreate and manage test plans, schedules, and testing timelinesConduct API testing using tools such as ReadyAPI or equivalentPerform performance testing activities including baseline analysis, profiling, and monitoringUtilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter, or similar toolsParticipate in peer reviews of test cases, test plans, and test execution resultsSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business and technical stakeholdersWork flexible schedules as required, including off-hours, weekends, or holidaysRequirements:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related fieldMinimum 4 years of experience performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for complex, public-facing systemsMinimum 2 years of experience testing web-based applicationsExperience using defect tracking and management tools such as JIRAWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptStrong analytical, problem-solving, and testing skills with close attention to detailProven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple functional teamsPreferred Qualifications:4+ years of experience testing Java-based or web applicationsExperience testing applications across multiple browsers, web services, backend processing, and data validation layersExperience with mobile testing, system testing, data migration testing, data integrity testing, and data transformation testingExperience performing backend database testing using SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar enterprise databasesStrong experience writing complex SQL queries for validation and testing purposesExperience testing large-scale healthcare, insurance, or eligibility-based systemsFamiliarity with Agile and iterative SDLC methodologies and industry-standard QA best practices
