HVAC Utilities Operator

iWorld Professionals is seeking multiple HVAC Utilities Operators to join a leading utilities organization in Rochester New York! In this role, you will maintain and operate water, steam, boiler, and compressed air systems, monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure operations run efficiently and comply with safety regulations.HVAC Utilities Operator Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain boilers, refrigeration, water treatment, turbines, and distribution systemsPerform routine inspections, adjust equipment controls, and document operational dataAssist with repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and piping systemsHandle chemical treatments safely and conduct system sampling/testingSupport equipment startups, shutdowns, and lockout/tagout proceduresMaintain equipment in safe, clean, and operational conditionContribute to updates and development of standard operating proceduresSupport overhead distribution systems and other utilities operationsHVAC Utilities Operator Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in an Operator position or related positionExperience or knowledge in refrigeration systems, cooling towers, water treatment, and steam turbinesProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organizationValid NYS driver’s license and proof of insurance requiredBase pay commensurate with experience, up to $40 per hour, plus a bonus and comprehensive benefits package designed to support your personal and professional success.
