Senior Accountant — Commercial Real Estate Atlanta Perimeter Area Make a visible impact as the sole accounting professional supporting a well-established and growing commercial real estate firm. You'll work directly with the owners, manage hands-on accounting across multiple entities, and help bring structure to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting as the company continues to expand. Why this role is compelling High visibility working directly with the owners; your work directly supports decision making Small, family-style culture where everyone knows each other and treats each other with respect Opportunity to improve processes and help build out the accounting function Key Responsibilities Core Accounting Manage month-end and quarter-end close, including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare accurate financial statements for multiple entities Handle AP, AR, cash receipts, deposits, and bank reconciliations Record rent receipts, issue late notices, and monitor tenant payments Manage vendor relationships, credit card tracking, and general accounting administration Communicate with CPAs, banks, insurance providers, and other partners Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting Build and maintain budgets and forecasts (training available if you understand the concepts) Prepare reporting for investors and banking partners Pull relevant terms from leases and purchase agreements to support reporting and analysis Process Improvement Bring structure, organization, and consistency across multiple companies Use QuickBooks and Excel to streamline workflows and improve reportingServe as the central accounting resource so brokers can focus on brokerage and development work Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience; real estate or property management experience is required Strong, recent experience with QuickBooks Solid Excel skills Comfortable with AP/AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, cash management, and close processes Ability to interpret leases and agreements at a practical level Education in Accounting or Finance preferred, but open to business backgrounds with deep accounting experience Personal Traits Highly organized, methodical, and dependable Hardworking and diligent Friendly and easy to work with, yet able to keep to yourself as needed Appreciates a small, flexible, close-knit environment Work Model On-site to start Hybrid flexibility may be considered once established Minimal to no travel Compensation And Benefits Base salary: $70,000–$95,000 Annual bonuses and raises based on performance Profit sharing 401(k) Health insurance reimbursement J-18808-Ljbffr
