DescriptionHybrid 4 days onsite in Pittsburgh, PAOur client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Azure, and distributed systems to help build a highly secure, fault-tolerant application that supports high-volume data ingestion, ledger-based recordkeeping, and analytics reporting.They are also looking for developers who embrace AI-augmented software development and leverage modern coding assistants and agent-based tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $60.00 to $75.00/hr. w2ResponsibilitiesDesign and build scalable Java / Spring Boot microservices running in Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)Develop highly reliable, API-driven workflows between internal clients and external partner organizationsBuild fault-tolerant data ingestion and processing pipelines with strong delivery guaranteesDesign systems that ensure zero data loss, high availability, and strong consistencyDevelop ledger-style services responsible for secure recordkeeping and confidential data managementArchitect solutions supporting multi-region Azure deployments with stringent disaster recovery objectivesImplement messaging, buffering, caching, and persistence strategies using Azure-native servicesContribute to future-state event-driven architectures leveraging Kafka, Redis, and related technologiesContribute to an Angular-based user interface supporting a controlled internal user communityBuild analytics, reporting, and operational dashboardsLeverage AI-assisted development tools to improve coding velocity, testing, debugging, documentation, and refactoringUtilize modern coding assistants such as: Windsurf, Cursor, Claude Code, Cline, Gemini Code Assist, or Amazon Q DeveloperExperience Requirements8 to 10+ years of software engineering experience, with preference for 10+ years.Strong Java backend and Angular frontend experience.Proficiency with SQL and Oracle.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Exposure to application resiliency, vulnerability management, and support.Experience owning deliverables independently in large enterprise environments.Ability to manage multiple applications and streams of work.AI-assisted development experience in day-to-day engineering. (Windsurf, Cursor, Claude Code, Cline, Gemini Code Assist, or Amazon Q Developer).Nice to have: Snowflake, cloud deployment experience, AML, data platforms or data lake, Kafka.Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree.
