POSITION OVERVIEW The Driver picks up aircraft components and delivers to the workshop in a timely manner to ensure work flow is not interrupted and then serviceable units are returned promptly to customers. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Pick up and deliver freight to and from the airport in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner. Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; install and remove tire chains as required by weather, tarp and un-tarp freight if operating flat beds. Administration including, completing serviceable and unserviceable labels, pickup and delivery books, temporary WO’s, vehicle logs. Load and unload trailers and perform lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying freight. General maintenance and care of vehicles. Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal regulations. Additional duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Valid Driver’s License or CDL-A (as required). Experience driving a 53’ tractor/trailer (if applicable). Forklift experience preferred. Driving experience. Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc…) required. Knowledge of applicable Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. WHY UNILODE?
