Vertical CNC Machinist (Swiss)

For more information, click apply or reach out to Alana at alana.seddon@gogpac.comKey Responsibilities:Setup and Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) by loading programs, tools, and raw materials.Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers) to ensure they meet blueprint specifications.Tooling and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including changing tools, maintaining fluid/lubricant levels, and cleaning the workspace.Monitoring: Monitor machines for unusual sounds or performance issues, adjusting feeds and speeds to ensure optimal production.Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine errors or production faults to minimize downtime.Swiss Machine Experience requiredQualifications and Skills:Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blue prints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.Experience: Previous experience operating CNC machinery (mills, lathes) or technical training in CNC machining.Mathematics: Proficiency in basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.Previous experience with CNC Swiss vertical machines required
