Math Instructional Interventionist (2026-27 SY)

POSITION TITLE:InterventionistDEPARTMENT:REPORTS TO:PrincipalInstructionSUMMARY: The Interventionist assists the principal and other members of the administrative team in providing leadership to organize, administer, and provide support for an effective school program that increases student achievement by delivering effective instructional strategies to students.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.Work with principal, staff and parents on research based instructional strategies that assist in continuously improving student achievement and instructionAssist in providing professional leadership to organize, administer and provide support for an effective school program that increases student achievement per the curriculumAssist in establishing an optimal learning environment within the schoolEnsure all school programs and activities conform to Confluence Academies guidelinesAssist in establishing a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of studentsCommunicate and work effectively and constructively with members of the school and communityReact to change and interruptions in a productive and positive manner, meeting deadlines assignedWork to implement the vision and mission of Confluence Academies per the strategic planWork with technology/computer systems especially as they relate to the teaching and learning processSupervise, direct, motivate and collaborate with the building principal to improve teaching and learning within the schoolModel commitment and dedication to workWork independently and without supervision, and complete work in an efficient mannerSupport the functions of the school including student discipline and other supervisory duties as assigned by the principalAssist the principal and administrative team in the overall administration of the schoolKeep current on changes and developments in the profession by attending professional meetings, reading professional journals and other publications, and discussing concerns of mutual interest with others in the fieldAttend extracurricular activities scheduled during the day or in the evening as neededInstill and promote quality instructional programs in the school and to ensure high levels of achievement from all studentsProvides individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of studentsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and assists in supervising students throughout school day and at evening activities; implementing instructional programs and providing instructional leadership; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
