A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Details: Work 10-hour day shifts Handle 8-12 case caseload Weekend call required - 1 full weekend per month On-call responsibilities approximately 7-10 days per month STEMI Call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation with 2-hour call back guaranteed No floating between units Work with adult and geriatric patient populations Perform elective cardiac catheterizations (diagnostic and interventional), right heart catheterizations, STEMI procedures, IABP, and pacemaker procedures Must have strong cath lab experience and ability to work in interventional radiology Skills include angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, insertion/programming of AICDs, pacemaker insertion, scrubbing to maintain sterile field, and temporary pacemaker procedures 3 years of experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT + MD License, or RCIS with IR experience Neuro intervention experience preferred Hospital scrubs provided Charting systems: Cerner, McKesson Strict no-tobacco policy with nicotine drug screening Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4-6 hours during orientation and annually 2 supervisor references required Facility: This acute care hospital operates as a Level II trauma center with 360 staffed beds, providing comprehensive cardiac and interventional radiology services.
