This role focuses on sourcing candidates such as carpenters, project managers, and general laborers, ensuring our workforce meets project timelines and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs for residential construction projectsSource candidates through job boards, trade schools, referrals, and networking within the construction industryScreen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates’ technical skills and experienceCoordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managersManage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer acceptanceBuild and maintain a pipeline of qualified construction professionalsEnsure compliance with employment laws and company hiring policiesTrack recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate qualityQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction or skilled tradesStrong understanding of residential construction roles and terminologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting toolsPreferred SkillsExperience recruiting for skilled tradesKnowledge of local labor markets and trade licensing requirementsStrong negotiation and relationship-building skills
