Electronic Assembler

Job Description General Assembler in a Growing and Quality Environment -1st ShiftExperience: Entry-level with experienceDaily Function: Perform mechanical/electronic assembly by following all assembly procedures, specifications, drawings, and packaging requirements in compliance to company standards.Under direct supervision, performs a variety of assembly tasks that require the ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment.Essential Functions:Refers to process documentation (drawings, travelers, BOM’s, and specifications) to perform assembly tasksMust become knowledgeable in the use of all basic assembly equipment in the dept.Learns and uses basic tools and fine hand tools.Must inspect all workmanship and special processes following the process documentation.Pack and ready products for shipping as necessaryShows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.Understands their role in following ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing standards.Performs all necessary tasks efficiently and accurately by following established written procedures.Maintains an organized work environment necessary for the efficient operation.Keeps equipment and department neat and clean at all times.Performs other related duties as directed to ensure efficient operations.Teamwork in a high paced environment to achieve excellence and continuous improvement.Detail oriented to achieve zero defectsReliable transportation to be at work on a daily basis and ready to perform duties as necessaryPhysical Requirements:Must be able to perform the essential functions as required. Need to have good eye and hand coordination with color perception.Ability to perform fine manipulation w/ hands, e.g. grasping & pulling at timesWorking Hours:Normal work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 8am until 5:30pm and Friday from 8am until 12pm with lunch and breaks.
