Vitesse Systems is looking for a Contracts Manager to join the team in Longmont, Colorado! Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual obligations.Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, finance, and engineering, to provide contract negotiation support. Advise on contractual terms and conditions, pricing structures, and related matters.Process contract modifications and amendments based on approved changes or customer requests. Ensure all modifications are properly documented and communicated to relevant parties.Track and monitor contract performance, including deliverables, milestones, and obligations. Identify any deviations or issues and proactively address them to prevent negative impact on project timelines or financials.Facilitate effective communication between internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies. Serve as a primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and maintain positive working relationships.Maintain accurate contract files and documentation, including correspondence, amendments, and change orders. Generate reports on contract status, financials, and other relevant metrics as required.Assist in resolving contract disputes and claims by conducting thorough investigations, analyzing contractual terms, and collaborating with legal counsel, if necessary.Identify opportunities to streamline contract administration processes and enhance efficiency. Implement best practices and contribute to the development of standardized templates, policies, and procedures.Support Sales and Finance objectives by contributing information and recommendations to key stakeholders. Partner with organizational leaders to support meeting cost, schedule, and delivery dates. Support development and oversight of contract negotiation activities. Interface with external stakeholders (customers) on contract requirements and negotiations.Support Organization Project Management objectives Oversee compliance with local, federal, internal and external Terms and Conditions, FAR/DFAR requirements, and government registrations (SAM.gov, DECCS, etc). Uphold the company core valuesOther duties as assigned.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5-7 years of increasing responsibility in contract administrationExperience with DoD and aerospace primesMust be a self-starter willing to work across multiple locations and be part of a high growth organizationExperience with ERP systems; Global Shop Solutions experience is highly desiredProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExperience with PIEE and OASIS desiredFamiliarity with Uniform Contract FormatDemonstrated success presenting technical data to non-technical stakeholders desiredStrong oral and written communication skillsExperience working directly with the government strongly preferredExperience working with prime aerospace customers and contractors strongly preferredVitesse Systems, LLC Performs Work Controlled By The International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) And Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
