Laundry Aid

Avir at Abilene - We are seeking a Laundry Operator to join our team! The Laundry Operator will be responsible for the complete laundering of the residents' personal items and table linens under the direction of the Housekeeping Director. It will be the responsibility of the Laundry Operator to have full working knowledge of the laundry equipment and proper method of laundering items, to ensure the highest quality of care of the residents' personal belongings.Responsibilities:Collect soiled laundry from residents.Sort laundry and tag appropriately.Launder all items appropriately (all items to be dry-cleaned shall be labeled, sent to the dry-cleaners, and received from the dry-cleaners on a regular weekly schedule).Launder facility linens, dietary aprons, towels, etc.Dry laundry appropriately.Steam presses items as needed.Return clean laundry to residents.Qualifications:Previous nursing home experience preferredBenefits:Medical/Dental/Vision InsuranceAncillary policies including Disability, Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital CoverageVoluntary Life Insurance and AD&DPaid Time OffRetirement 401KUnparalleled Corporate Support
