You will be responsible for shingle and mass fusion fiber splicing; preparation, installation, testing and repair of fiber optic cable.What Youll Do:Perform cable installation, construction, maintenance, and repair worksPossess knowledge in all types of splicing activity, fiber and safety test equipment and use of all types of fiber construction equipmentLocate and repair faults to maintain existing network without causing signal failure interruptions.Validate and test end-to-end service provisioning for the fiber networkConfirm accurate cable terminations on cross connect, patch panels, hubs, and routersReview site surveys, conditions discrepancy reports, design drawings, technical manuals for fiber installation feasibilityUnderstand construction prints and splice schematicsRead and interpret existing fiber records, on maps or in the fieldInstall and dress fiber optic cabling within splice enclosures and various fiber termination panels (indoor and outdoor)Who You Are:Strong attention to detailPassion for accuracySelf-motivated and able to work aloneExperienced with fiber cable construction, splicing and repair; 3 years preferredProficient with hand tools, including cable jacket and buffer tube strippers, crimpers and diagnostic equipment is essentialBenefits & Compensation:Competitive salaryAnnual bonuses with opportunity to earn equityHealth Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceRetirement Savings Plan (401K) with company matchPaid Holidays & Vacation (PTO)Work Location: In personAll applicants are considered for all positions without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, ancestry, physical/mental disability, medical condition, military/veteran status, genetic information, marital status, ethnicity, citizenship or immigration status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
