Dietary Aid

The Diaetary Aide will work alongside Chefs to help prepare food for residents and clients.Responsibilities:Preparing meals, snacks, and beverages following specific proceduresServing meals, ensuring food safety, and hygiene procedures are followed at all timesTaking inventory of kitchen supplies and food itemsStaying current on the individual procedures and protocols, including state-specified rules and regulationsSet up and break down dining areas, and assist with kitchen maintenance and general cleaningAssisting with educational programs on nutritionQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience with institutional food service preferred. Provide the most comprehensive support. Necessary skills:Patience and compassion when working with clients and team workersAbility to communicate effectively with clients and team membersStrong attention to detailAbility to follow instructions for meal orders and nutritional guidelines to ensure clients receive appropriate foodPhysical stamina to assist in food preparation, serving meals, and cleaning up after mealsThis is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6 am - 2 pm.Benefits include:26 paid days off (PTO) per year to start!
