We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with Ab Initio experience to design, develop, and support enterprise data integration and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development, Ab Initio ETL, SQL, and data warehouse concepts, with experience delivering scalable solutions in large enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
Develop and support Ab Initio ETL workflows, graphs, and data integration solutions.
Work with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop data transformation, data quality, and data migration processes.
Optimize ETL jobs and application performance for high-volume data processing.
Create and maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and deployment procedures.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams throughout the SDLC.
Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
Strong experience with Ab Initio ETL development.
Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
Strong SQL skills with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.Experience with data warehousing and ETL concepts.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Exposure to Kafka or other messaging technologies.
Banking, Financial Services, or Healthcare domain experience.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Nice to Have:
Ab Initio GDE, Express>IT, Metadata Hub, or Conduct>IT experience.
Python or Spark knowledge.
Snowflake or Big Data platform experience.
