Social Media Content Creator Job DescriptionNeff is seeking a full-time Social Media Content Creator. THIS IS AN IN OFFICE POSITIONThe Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for the day-to-day content creation and community management across all social media channels for designated clients. This individual will be responsible for the editorial content calendar, community engagement, content development, off-site photoshoots, and any other additional creative needs. They will need to post content, ensure timely responses, manage client campaigns, and make sure that the brand voice, feel, and look is carried out across all applicable platforms. The individual should be versed in current and emerging social platforms with a proven track record of getting tasks done quickly and efficiently. This role will report to the Social Media Manager. Please reply to HR@neffknows.com ResponsibilitiesCreate all content for clients from start to finish, including graphics, photography, and copywritingEnsure all posts maintain a consistent look/feel, tone, and voiceMediate, and if necessary, properly escalate customer service concerns with appropriate client contacts in a timely mannerTailor posts to users unique to each social channelIdentify content that drives overall engagementWork with the Social Media Manager to be aware of the social metrics reports and their implications for future initiativesCollaborate within the agency on cross-department client campaigns, working especially close with the PR department to identify and leverage opportunities for social activationsBe a "content opportunist" - identify and develop interesting, unique ways to further promote the brand and its overall message Required Skills3-5 years’ experience in a digital communications role with responsibility for social media including organic and paidPrevious client contact and account managementBA/BS in communications, marketing, or related fieldDemonstrated knowledge and experience working on social media platforms for a companyWorking Knowledge of paid social advertising is a big plus as well as an understanding of analytics Experience with content creation for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and any other applicable programsMust be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and all relevant content creation tools and platformsExperience with Sprout Social preferred, but not necessaryProven high-quality photography portfolio and samples of graphic designCan multitask and manage numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.The ability to work well under pressure and able to meet tight deadlinesWilling and able to work weekends if neededHigh attention to details - excellent written and verbal skillsFamiliarity with established and emerging social platformsAssertive and resourceful with a proven track record of getting things done
