Healthcare Sales Executive - Michigan

About the Role We are seeking a Strategic Account Executive for SailPoint's Identity Security Solution in Michigan. The role focuses on partnering with payers and providers to expand market penetration, drive revenue growth, and deliver superior customer experience. Key Responsibilities Achieve quarterly and annual revenue quotas. Address unique customer inquiries and provide tailored solutions that align to their needs. Develop and execute business plans for assigned territory. Collaborate with marketing to create and implement joint plans with partners and end users. Pursue all leads supplied and maintain accurate activity in Salesforce and Clari. Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint's advantages to prospects. Follow up with customers and coordinate with post-sale teams to ensure continued success. Own the entire sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and closing. Gain deep knowledge of territory, customers, prospects, and competitors. Communicate and differentiate SailPoint's value against Microsoft, Okta, Saviynt, and other solutions. Utilize channel management and reporting tools, maintaining data hygiene. Milestone Expectations 1-month: Build an opportunity plan for high-potential accounts and establish a marketing plan with the Marketing Manager. 2-month: Complete a stakeholder map for key partners and demonstrate Salesforce hygiene. 3-month: Deliver a full territory plan, forecast, and marketing/channel engagement strategy. 4-month: Finalize account and opportunity plans, achieve the 1st Mate enablement badge. 6-month: Expand pipeline to 2-3x target, refine go-to-market strategy, and complete the Captains badge on HighSpot. Qualifications & Experience Proven track record as an Account Executive or similar sales role focused on enterprise security or identity solutions. Strong communication and discovery skills, able to qualify opportunities and lead virtual teams. Experience positioning solutions against competitors such as Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt. Team-based selling mindset, collaborating with partner resources, presales, deal desk, and post-sale teams. Ability to create territory and opportunity plans that move prospects from discovery to closing. Capability to influence and manage discussions across all levels of a customer's organization. Familiarity with Salesforce, Clari, and other channel-management tools. Bachelor's degree in IT, business, sales, or a related field (preferred but not required). Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $109,200 - $184,080 USD (U.S. based). Eligible for a corporate bonus plan, role-specific commission, and potential equity participation.
