About the Opportunity:The Remote Technical Support Specialist role is responsible for delivering timely and effective technical support to internal staff. This position ensures smooth IT operations by resolving hardware, software, and network issues, contributing to overall organizational efficiency and service quality.3. Responsibilities:• Provide first-line technical support for IT-related issues including hardware, software, and network connectivity.• Respond promptly and professionally to support requests via email, phone, and remote tools.• Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.• Manage and document support tickets and resolutions.• Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of user accounts, workstations, and mobile devices.• Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff.• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.• Support specialized software applications used in the commercial electrical industry.4. Requirements:• Proven experience in technical support, service desk, or IT support roles.• Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS systems, iOS/Android devices, and networking principles.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical concepts clearly.• Demonstrable problem-solving skills and methodical troubleshooting approach.• Experience with remote access software and helpdesk ticketing systems.• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with self-motivation and discipline.• Commitment to customer satisfaction aligned with values of honesty and integrity.• (Desirable) Experience supporting users in construction, engineering, or electrical industries.• (Desirable) Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+.5.
