Process and Development Engineer

Job TitleThis person will work at a brand-new plant with plans to grow to 100 people producing custom designed high purity chemicals (PPT) many of which are used to produce computer chips. These chemicals are currently produced at a bench scale level using closed loop reactors in a nearby research lab with pilot plant reactors. The plan is to produce a larger variety of these chemicals and reduce the number of imported chemicals in their huge catalogue. This person will scale up products from bench scale to full scale, specify process conditions, specification of new equipment, and work with outside vendors and Engineering Firms on installation and start of new equipment. IRA match of 3%, and relocation assistance.Minimum RequirementsB.S. degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry8+ years of experience in scale up of chemicals ideally higher purity chemicals as a Development or Process Engineer. A person should have experience specifying equipment and installing equipment on a small or large scale.
