Post: Science/ Math Teacher (it is three classes science and two math, so science is more important.)Start Date: August 2026Location: Boca Raton, Florida United StatesSalary Range Annual Contract Minimum $ 53,000 Maximum $ 108,759An independent school providing a student-centered, college-preparatory, International Baccalaureate (IB) education for students in preschool through 12th grade. The school was IB authorized in 2009 and became an IB World School in 2016, offering all three International Baccalaureate programs, as well as extracurricular activities, community service, performance programs, and the performing arts, all of which are emphasized alongside the highest expectations for academic engagement and attainment.Key Responsibilities:● Uphold and model the school’s core values and community expectations.● Teach developmentally appropriate Middle School science/math classes, ensuringthat taught content and skills align with the expectations of a rich, college prep curriculum and the expectations of the IB Middle Years Programme. Classes could include life science, earth science, physical science, sixth-grade math, and pre-algebraQualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education or a related field (Master’s preferred). ● Strong classroom management and communication skills.Preferred: Demonstrated expertise and a minimum of three years of classroom teaching. ● Preferred: Prior experience teaching in an independent or private school setting. ● Preferred: Prior experience in an International Baccalaureate school.Compensation includes a comprehensive employee benefits package; offers a competitive salary commensurate with background and experience.
