This role will oversee daily branch operations across service, parts, and rental functions while driving performance, efficiency, and a strong team culture. The primary responsibilities of the position consist of, but are not limited to:Oversee daily branch operations across service, parts, and rental departmentsSupervise the operation of the service department and ensure efficient workflowFoster a positive customer and employee relations atmosphereLead, coach, and develop team members, including monitoring training progressReview and analyze department data to meet sales, profit, and operational goalsManage KPIs including technician efficiency, parts turns, rental utilization, and customer satisfactionImplement, monitor, and refine processes to improve efficiency and productivityProcess and review work orders, invoicing, and customer quotesOversee payroll entry and audit for accuracyPurchase order acquisition and coordinationMonitor work in progress and ensure timely completionMaintain condition of service vehicles and facilityEnsure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulationsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance branch performanceIncorporate company guiding principles into daily activitiesPerform other duties as assignedConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start timeDesired Skills And Qualifications3–5+ years of management experience in service, operations, or branch leadership preferredExperience in heavy equipment, automotive, construction, or related industries preferredStrong organizational and process management skillsProven ability to successfully manage and develop employeesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer relations and people skillsSolid understanding of service workflows, parts inventory, and rental operationsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and business systems (ERP/CRM preferred)High-level problem-solving and reasoning abilityIntermediate mathematical skills including calculations, percentages, and basic algebra/geometryPhysical Demands/Work EnvironmentPhysical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will talk/hear; Frequently will stand, sit, use hands and arms; Occasionally will walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlLift and/or Move Functions: Frequently will lift up to 10 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 100 poundsWork Environment: May work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and other shop-related exposuresAbout AltaCulture is Job #1.
