Operations & Events ManagerOur client, a bipartisan political action committee dedicated to supporting pro-Israel and pro-Jewish elected officials across Georgia, is hiring an Operations & Events Manager. Office located in Atlanta/Sandy Springs, GA area. Hybrid work arrangement (onsite/remote) with frequent local (Greater Atlanta Area) travel including event-related errands and regular travel to the Georgia State Capitol during legislative session.A bipartisan political action committee that supports pro-Israel and pro-Jewish elected officials across Georgia. They work at the intersection of advocacy, community engagement, and political action building lasting relationships between Georgia's Jewish community and its elected leaders. The organization is in an active growth phase, expanding its programs, donor base, and legislative agenda.Position SummaryThe Operations & Events Manager is the operational backbone the person who makes sure events happen flawlessly, data is accurate, systems work, and communications go out on time. Reports directly to the Executive Director and works in close coordination with PAC leadership and the Board of Directors. This role is a good fit if you: take initiative without being asked, build structure where none exists, stay calm when priorities shift, are excited to build something meaningful, care deeply about the mission, and find genuine satisfaction in doing whatever it takes to make something run well.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent and Program ManagementPlan, organize, and execute programs from small strategic gatherings (~10 attendees) to large donor briefings and political events of 100+Manage all event logistics: venues, catering, invitations, RSVPs, signage, photography, and post-event follow-up; handle event-related errands including printing and supply runsPrepare run-of-show documents; serve as on-site logistical lead during eventsServe as point of contact for guest speakers and elected official staffs, coordinate briefing materials with the ED and lobbying teamMaintain the program calendar; prepare agendas, briefing materials, and post-meeting summaries for ED reviewDonor Operations & CRM ManagementMaintain CRM data integrity and accuracy, including regular audits (HubSpot, CivicCRM, Salesforce, or similar)Process pledge tracking, donation entry, and acknowledgment tasks in coordination with Democracy EngineTrack contributions and expenditures in compliance with Georgia campaign finance law; support the Treasurer and Counsel with materials needed for financial reportingSegment contact lists for communications and events; handle all donor and financial data with strict confidentialityCommunications and Stakeholder EngagementDraft donor acknowledgment letters, newsletters, event recaps, and announcements (Canva, Mailchimp) for ED review and approvalSupport donor outreach and relationship cultivation as directed by the ED; coordinate with designers and vendors on event materialsManage the organization's photo, video, and press archivesManage the ED and Political Director's correspondence, scheduling, and travel logistics Prepare agendas, take Board meeting minutes, and track follow-up actions; generate regular operational reportsMaintain filing systems and records in compliance with state-level reporting requirements; proactively identify and address operational gapsQualificationsRequired5+ years of experience in operations, event coordination, communications, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting external-facing materialsExperience with CRM or donor databases; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, and MailchimpExperience in a small or start-up organizationValid driver's license and reliable transportation; role involves as-needed local travel and regular Capitol visits during sessionAvailability for occasional evenings and early mornings in support of eventsPreferredExperience in a political or advocacy environment, and/or Jewish community organizationsFamiliarity with Georgia's Jewish community and civic landscapeComfort working directly with senior leadership and volunteer boards in a high-expectation environmentCore CompetenciesEntrepreneurial, self-starting mindset finds opportunity in ambiguity and acts without being askedHighly organized with strong attention to detail, follow-through, and composure under pressureHandles sensitive information and high-profile relationships with exceptional discretionGenuine connection to the mission of supporting Israel and the Jewish community
