Behind every placement is our experienced operations team handling compliance, credentialing, and communication so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.Catalytic Solutions—where clinicians thrive, partners trust us, and healthcare staffing gets smarter.**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurse in Ketchikan, Alaska!**\n\n**Job Description**\n\n- Work as part of a dynamic outpatient department team, providing exceptional patient care in an ambulatory setting.\n- Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to ensure high-quality services and compliance with organizational standards.\n- Lead and direct clinic operations, including front desk functions and patient care to enhance the overall patient experience.\n- Maintain medication inventory and supplies, ensuring quality control checks are completed for Point of Care tests.\n- Deliver accurate and timely documentation for all care and services provided in the clinic.\n- Oversee the opening and closing of clinics, ensuring a smooth workflow for all operations.\n- Anticipate the needs of providers and support staff, facilitating efficient and quality patient care.\n- Communicate effectively with various departments, becoming a vital resource for patients and colleagues.\n- Flexible shift requirements may include early mornings and Saturdays.\n\n**Required Education, Certifications, and Licenses**\n\n- Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state.\n- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.\n- High school diploma or equivalent.\n- Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years.\n\n**Experience**\n\n- 1 year of acute care experience preferred.\n- 6 months of addiction services experience preferred.\n\n**Knowledge and Skills**\n\n- Understanding of the nursing process and its application in clinical settings.\n- Strong customer service principles.\n- Knowledge of safety and infection control guidelines.\n- Proficient in assessments, specimen collection, and use of medical equipment.\n- Excellent oral and written communication skills.\n\n**Ability to**\n\n- Multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.\n- Work independently while being a team player.\n- Teach and support colleagues as needed.\n- Problem-solve and use critical thinking to maintain positive work relationships.\n- Seek assistance in new or challenging situations.\n\n**Physical Demands**\n\n- Regularly required to talk or hear.\n- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.\n- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.\n- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\n- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.\n\n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
