Db2 Z/OS Engineer Our great client in Milwaukee, WI has an immediate remote opening for Db2 Z/OS Engineer.Qualifications:8+ years in DB2 for z/OS technology performing DB2 systems programming dutiesTo include knowledge of DB2 internals, SMP/E, TSO/E, ISPF/PDF, JCL, z/OS Utilities in a DB2 data sharing environmentWorking knowledge of DB2 DDF workloads, supporting DB2 connect configuration, installation, and problem determinationCoding experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., REXX, COBOL, ISPF, CLIST)Knowledge/support of Golden Gate a DB2 replication productEffective problem determination and resolution skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to influenceDemonstrated change management skillsAbility to multi-task, work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment, and demonstrated ability to provide quality client supportResponsibilities:As a Senior Systems Programmer you'll contribute to all matters related to DB2 infrastructure systems to ensure successful deployment and operationDebug system software problems and communicate with vendors to resolve these problemsTake lead during incidents and drive incident management effort to restore service and lead postmortem discussions and actionsPlan, test & implement DB2 software updates, migrations and other DB2 maintenance activitiesParticipate in Annual disaster recovery testing scenarios along with Production on call support (24x7)Function as a team leader of a small team
