Job Description Job Title: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Madison, WIDuration: 12 MonthsWork Mode: 100% OnsitePay Rate: $28.00/ hr on w2Description:UPDATE ON SHIFTS AND DIFFERENTIALSTitle: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician – Madison, WIPay rate $28.00/hrNO OPENINGS for Shift A (days).Shift Openings Shift DifferentialShift B 2 10%Shift C 2 10%Shift D 2 14%Workers will start day one with the shift diff in their pay $28/hr base payShift Details:Workers will work 3 days – 12-hour shifts with alternating Thursdays.Physical required: YesConsistently follow and actively promote proper safety protocols and PPE to other staff.Maintain the safety and cleanliness of production areas and all related equipment during each shift, specifically maintaining potent compound handling techniques.Utilize a wide variety of written procedures, including batch records and existing operating procedures.Function as a primary or secondary operator for cGMP production of APIs and intermediates.Must be able to effectively operate production equipment during production, cleaning, and maintenance as necessary to support production operations.Communicate production status effectively through shift pass-off tools.Correct safety and process issue gaps as identified through standard inspections and audits in a timely and effective manner.Participate in a team-based, multi-shift manufacturing environment by actively engaging in inter-shift communication and maintaining high quality in-lab housekeeping.Provide departmental support through additional tasks as directed by department leadership.Additional Local Needs:Must be willing to work with highly potent / hazardous materialsAble to utilize proper personal protective equipment which could include, but is not limited to:Respiratory protection (dust masks, half/full face respirators, supplied air, etc)MilliporeSigma issued work uniformsLab CoatsFull body protection (disposable coveralls, hazmat suits, etc)Education: Associate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related Life Science -OR- High School Diploma or GED equivalent Work ExperienceWork Experience : 2+ years of pharmaceutical, chemical, or related production manufacturing experienceSkills:Ability to read and understand written protocolsBasic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Email, etc.)Effective oral and written communication skillsMechanical aptitudeAble to operate hand tools, calculators and weighing / measuring devicesBasic mathematical skillsPossess a high degree of motivation and are a self-starterAbility to multi-task while paying close attention to detailAble to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds with the assistance of equipment or teammates as necessaryCompany Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
