Title: Sanitation Technician - 3rd Shift Fire Prevention Categories: Night Technician Pay: $20-$24 (Based on applicable experience). Benefits: · PTO · Medical benefits · Performance based path to promotion General Description: As a technician, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Your responsibilities include using specialized tools, chemical degreasers, and pressure washers to remove all traces of grease buildup in accordance with the strict standards set by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 96 and our company policies. By meticulously cleaning these systems, you help prevent potential fire hazards and ensure a safe and healthy environment for all. Link to You Tube Videos Showing Process: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=kitchen+exhaust+cleaning+start+to+finish Qualifications · Able to work 3rd shift (approx. 6pm – 6am) Sunday through Thursday · Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders · Must be able to lift 75 lbs · Comfortable working safely while removing grease and water · Required to work in Various weather conditions, including rain, heat, cold, and wind. · High Level of Communication · Valid Driver’s License · Reliable Transportation to and from the office. · Required to work 5 days a week Responsibilities · Showing up to work prepared and on time at minimum of 5 days a week · Maintaining a professional behavior on your entire shift, and a drive to ensure all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner. · Reviewing job notes at the beginning of your night to prepare for your shift · Protecting all customers equipment and rooftop to prevent any damage · Removing all grease buildup from all parts of the kitchen exhaust system · Taking all required before and after pictures of each job · Cleaning up customer's facility to the condition we found it once the job is complete · Assuring customers kitchen exhaust system is working properly before departing the location · Documenting any valuable feedback from the service in the work order notes / reports / supervisors on a nightly basis · Attend the monthly Safety Meeting and maintain proper safety standards per company guidelines and procedures. · Cleaning inside/outside of your crew vehicle each week · Combination of task: As a member of our team, it is important that you take pride in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This includes cleaning both the inside and outside of your crew vehicle on a weekly basis, as well as contributing to the overall cleanliness of our shop.
