Delivery Program Manager
Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure predictable, consistent, and successful program delivery as defined in the program charter/scope.Develop and manage the complete view of the overall program for the organization and all stakeholders, including executive management.Exhibit proactive behavior by engaging in program planning activities, including:Define the overall scope of the program.Create and maintain a consolidated timeline/schedule highlighting major milestones and associated dates.Identify and communicate program/project dependencies and impacts.Establish mechanisms for ongoing program governance, including Program Approach, Communication Plan, Risk Management, Issue Management, and Change Control.Ensure proper transition of all program components to Operations.Execute programs in alignment with governance defined by Leadership.Ensure success criteria are established upfront and actively manage program outcomes.Keep internal and external stakeholders engaged, aligned, and informed throughout the program lifecycle.Proactively communicate program progress and maintain transparency.Provide leadership and stakeholders with the information required for timely decision-making.Assess challenges, identify alternatives, and commit to appropriate actions.Escalate issues effectively and lead problem-solving when obstacles arise.Apply program and project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to achieve successful outcomes.Provide leadership and matrix management for project managers, program managers, and supporting team members.Develop, maintain, and manage program finances, including business case, spend approvals, actual spend, remaining budget, and financial planning.Develop and manage client communication plans, oversee client change management, and ensure complete end-to-end testing and client signoff before go-live, cutover, migration, and production activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.10+ years of program/project management or consulting experience.Strong knowledge of program management frameworks, lifecycle, and methodologies.5+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation or data center consolidation initiatives.Minimum 5 years of experience managing cross-functional matrix teams.Proficiency with Project Management tools.Excellent executive-level verbal and written communication skills.PMP Certification preferred.Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Software industries preferred.Key Skills & BehaviorsStakeholder PartnershipStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.Ability to build strategic partnerships across the organization.Comfortable interacting with senior executives.JudgmentAbility to apply program and project management concepts to achieve business objectives.Adaptable and effective in dynamic environments.Team LeadershipProven ability to earn stakeholder trust, motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and deliver results.Experience building and leading high-performing matrix organizations.Accountability & CommitmentDrive business outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.Define and align program vision, roadmap, and end-state objectives.Learning AgilityIdentify strategic opportunities and gain organizational support.Adapt quickly to changing priorities and environments.Business AcumenUnderstand end-to-end business processes and coordinate across functions.Assess the impact of program changes on business priorities.Problem SolvingIdentify hidden risks and implement effective solutions.Clearly communicate complex issues and mitigation plans to stakeholders.Process AdherenceLead and document program initiation activities, including stakeholder identification, governance approach, roles, and responsibilities.Develop and execute a communication strategy that increases awareness, promotes organizational value, and highlights program successes.
