Fleet Maintenance & Terminal Operations ManagerMiami, Florida (Opa-Locka) | On-Site | Full-Time $110,000 – $140,000 + Performance Bonus Trucking | Transportation | Logistics | Fleet OperationsNorth American Transport Services (NATS) is hiring a Fleet Maintenance & Terminal Operations Manager to lead our Miami terminal and drive fleet uptime, maintenance execution, yard operations, and vendor performance.This is a high-impact leadership role for a proven Terminal Manager, Fleet Manager, Maintenance Manager, Trucking Operations Manager, or Yard Operations Manager with experience in OTR trucking, LTL, or high-volume fleet operations.Our Miami terminal supports: 120 Company Tractors // 160 Dry Van TrailersYou will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is operational, organized, and ready for dispatch while managing fleet maintenance vendors and driving operational performance.Key Responsibilities✔ Coordinate daily tractor inspections and repairs with vendors such as Ryder, Penske, and outside repair shops✔ Oversee trailer maintenance, damage repairs, and preventive maintenance programs✔ Manage inventory of tires, brakes, trailer parts, and maintenance supplies✔ Maintain a clean, organized, and disciplined terminal / truck yard✔ Oversee truck washing, inspections, and dispatch readiness✔ Present trucks to new drivers and explain company equipment policies and standards✔ Coordinate trailer returns, swaps, and preparation of incoming new trailers✔ Manage vendor performance, repair turnaround times, and billing disputes✔ Monitor and improve:Fleet uptimeRepair turnaround timesBreakdown frequencyFailed dispatchesVendor performance✔ Work closely with drivers, operations, maintenance vendors, and company leadership Immediate Project FocusWe are currently upgrading and rotating our trailer fleet.Responsibilities include:✔ Preparing trailers for return and swap✔ Coordinating trailer exchanges in Indiana and Illinois✔ Preparing incoming trailers with:GPS locatorsCompany branding / signageInspections and fleet readiness preparationThis transition project is expected to continue through June / July 2026.
