You will work on cutting-edge products and technologies. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary experts across mobile, embedded, and system domains. You have the opportunity to drive innovation through rapid prototyping and developmentKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack ComposeBuild rapid prototypes and proofs-of-concept for new product ideas, focusing on fast iteration cyclesCreate intuitive, responsive UIs optimized for small-screen devicesCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams (UX, backend, embedded teams)Translate product requirements into functional and scalable mobile solutionsEnsure high performance, responsiveness, and usability of applicationsParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiativesDebug and resolve issues related to application behavior and performanceMaintain clean, modular, and reusable code following best practicesBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in Android application developmentStrong proficiency in:KotlinJetpack ComposeExperience building and deploying Android apps end-to-endExperience with rapid prototyping / MVP developmentStrong focus on UI/UX for constrained or small displaysProficiency with version control systems (Git)Preferred QualificationsPreferred additional skills, personal traits and experienceExperience with edge devices, embedded systems, or connected productsFamiliarity with Android frameworks and services for scalable applications.Knowledge of performance optimization and memory managementExperience working in an engineering services or consulting environmentExposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologiesNice To HaveSolid understanding of:Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture)REST APIs and data handlingSoft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, client-facing environmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAdaptability to changing requirements and prioritiesTeam playerProactiveness in collaborating and executionFlexibility to switch technical contextWillingness to learn new methods/tools/processesAbility to prioritize, multitask, and take ownershipStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsWe offerThe annual salary range for this role is $100,000 – $175,000 per year.The Annual Salary depends upon various job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand.
