The successful candidate will be the senior leader of the Affiliate, responsible for strategic vision, regional culture, and team identity. This role requires a commitment to equity, early literacy, and community health, with a focus on serving under-resourced communities. Key responsibilities include leading the execution of a multi-year regional strategy, driving annual planning and budget development, and representing the region at national leadership forums. The Regional Executive Director will also be tasked with leading the fundraising strategy, managing a philanthropic portfolio, and building strong external relationships with healthcare and policy partners. Applicants for the Regional Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in the nonprofit, healthcare, public health, education, or social sector, with a proven track record in fundraising and development. The role demands a strategic thinker, an exceptional communicator, and a leader with a growth mindset. Experience in pediatric health, early childhood development, or a related field is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with the philanthropic, healthcare, and policy landscapes of Oregon and Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive leadership, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships across diverse communities.
